Gheorghe Feies
the boss of P.P. Arad:
"I am ready to be a secretary of state and a prefect!"

- Mr. Feies, is it better to be "a people's party" than a "national party"?
- Yes it is, especially in the context of joining the European structures. People means national, Christian and social in Europe. No one abandons the national idea, it's just that we can't get lost in the XIX century nationalism. The world has changed, it's like walking with a top hat and an eye glass… You can protect your country in an intelligent and discreet way without ranting. After all, people is more adequate, more comprehensive.

- Do you really care about the poor people or are you duping us with "the social dimension of the people's party"?
- If you don't care about the poor people don't go into politics! You can do business, you can write books… The politicians must work for the needy. Even when they are supporting the initiative of the private sector! The people's doctrine is about every social class, especially the middle and lower class. If we're talking about demagogy, then you've reached the wrong party. That is why we ran away from…

- How long until the Ardeal will become a people's province?
- It already is. The people here are patriots - people with common sense, people that now their limits… The Ardeal people are hard working, charitable and Christians. If we can make ourselves heard, the People's Party will become a solid reality here. The world seems ready for a change.

- What would you choose, a secretary of state or a prefect?
- I am not one that would run after a political position; but I believe that, if I have to, I can handle both.
