- It is said that P.P. will be a party of strong branches. Is that a fool's promise?
- I don't think so. It is the big chance of a new party - to let their branches distinguish themselves, to encourage an internal democracy. The country man feels alone and unimportant; he must understand that being a part of P.P. he will become strong and involved. Along with Corneliu Ciontu, we've made up a plan to make the People's Party, one of the most decentralized and modern Romanian party. And you will see what a great success it will have in the country where the people are tired of the "center's" whims.

- How does a people's party man look like? Does he wear tennis shoes? Does he say jokes? Does he go to the market?
- A people's party man looks like your parents: clean, simple, doing great wonders in the kitchen from a tiny income, having the ability to hammer a nail, loving his children and his country, crossing himself when passing near a church, voting with his head down, tired of all this demagogy. We are a "people's nation", not "vegetal" - and that's what the people are waiting for, a party that suits their needs.

- Aren't you a little small to make waves in the Romanian political life?
- Small? Where did you come up with that? We have partners in the real and honest economy - we have the money; we have exceptional people, very experienced in administration; we have the syndicates with us; we have an image team that can really make anyone a president; we have the support of the European People's Party and the Christian-democrat movement. That is a force!

- Let's suppose I want to get into politics. Why would I do it in P.P. and not in PSD or PNL?
- Because you can distinguish yourself. Any old party has its top positions occupied. You are stuck as a member for all your life, you are called from time to time to vote. Here, in the P.P. we give you the microphone and say: show us what you got! If you have it - you become a leader. You must understand that we are not joking, we are seriously preparing for taking the power.

- You only think about the gold!
- The power is gold only to those who are kept into the opposition for too long. We are too energetic and enthused to be happy with being the eternal critics of the power holders. We are ready for some hard work, we are man, for God's sake!

- Who is the "eternal opposition"? PRM? Don't they have some positions in the Districts' Counsels?
- Yes, the ones they bargained for - against a wave of envy and hysteria - "the traitor" Corneliu Ciontu… Without him, these positions will progressively disappear.
