The Danubian Knight graphically represents the Popular Party, an
ancient Gettic symbol that, after Christ, inspired the iconography
of Saint George.
Assimilated throughout the whole European culture of the Antiquity,
the Knight attests to the fact that the people of these places had,
have and will always have something to give to the Europe, idea
which is part of the political belief of the Popular Party.
The Danubian Knight stands for the conquest of good against evil,
the nobility, the strength and courage of man to build its own destiny.
The Popular Party believes in the power and enthusiasm of the youth
to change the destiny of Romania, helped by the experience and wisdom
of the seniors.
This belief is visually represented by the two colors of the party.
Raw green, which symbolizes the enthusiasm of youth, freshness
and dynamism, fructified by the Popular Party through the programmatic
message concerning the renewal of the political class.
Dark grey, which evocates wise power, stability, tradition and experience,
the 'foundation' without which no durable edifice can be erected.
